Nearly 10k this week and the end of draft one of my YA novel is so close I can taste it!

I also finished one beta read novel and worked on editing my other novel.  This means, for the FIRST time, I hit on all of my goals.  Very nice sense of accomplishment this week for me.

And best news of all…I’m an honorable mention in the 8th Annual Ultra Short Competition sponsored by The Binnacle (Univ of Maine literary  mag).  Woo-hoo!!

I just passed the 87k mark yesterday on Iris’ YA novel and am resolving the final conflict.  I had written the beginning of the HEA but snipped it and saved it for later where it will work better.  No Write or Dies so far but I’m starting to feel the need.  I would REALLY like to finish draft 1 by this weekend so I can get cracking on editing my urban fantasy, my one goal I’ve not lifted a single finger on in over 60 days.
