I’ve never been a “blogger” but I love the word so much and the elitism it implies that I thought I’d give it a try.

I’m not a political person but every now and then have the odd opinion or two, not formed from any educated research but from whatever bits and pieces I have picked up. So anyone reading and disagreeing with my opinion is admonished to hold back from ripping it to shreds. I don’t care how intelligent and well-informed you might be, it’s unwelcome and won’t change my opinion.

Well, that’s a rather curmudgeonly start to my first blog ever. I will probably at some point edit this to give it a softer edge but for now it is what it is.

I like the ridiculous so I suspect that much of what I will be saying will be random musings on those types of things. I also love stories of the triumph of the underdog, the ugly duckling who is transformed by whatever into her true lovely self, blah, blah.
