If you’re here, you’d have to be blind not to have noticed the new look of the site. My intent is to make my blog look more like a website without actually creating a website. WordPress gives me the ability to do that with a few clever clicks and options.
I’m still struggling with branding, but as I have nothing to sell yet, this is the time to experiment. So, the steampunk theme is gone for now. To those who hate dark backgrounds, this should be much easier to read. To those who prefer less busy sites, this is certainly that.

I love the new look !! It is fresh , open and inviting !
It’s also easier on the eye (esp. people like me whose eyes have been tortured by years of late-night reading and more recently glued to the computer .. LOL)

Thank you, Mish. I’m not usually a fan of dark backgrounds either for the same reasons as you plus perhaps another decade or so of age, but I loved the brown steampunk so it lasted a little longer than it should have.

Yeah, the busyness of the old was starting to get to me. Plus, I can’t keep the same theme for too long. I have the attention span of a gnat.
