Wow! We’re done with round two!
So how did I do? Well… from a stated goals perspective, I had mixed results, though my most ambitious goal–finishing my first YA novel’s draft–I achieved. So-so on the “giving back” via critiques and beta reads front. Not so good on the editing front.
Adjunct to my stated goals, however, I managed to get not one but two short stories placed in publications. Both will be released in October, one under this pen name and one under my erotica pen name (just got THAT bit of awesome news on Wednesday and I’m still squeeing.)
Keeping it all in perspective, I’d call this round of ROW80 a solid WIN!!!

Congrats on the end of Round 2, and especially for finishing Don’t Ask! Woo hoo! As someone who’s been plugging away on the same little novella for, well, let’s say a lot more than 80 days, I am mucho, mucho impressed. Good job! 🙂

Thank you, Silver! On the shorts…I’m just shaking my head at the snowballing good luck of late. I do think I’m a better short story author than novelist…thus far. Still working to add some balance.
Now, you get on that novella! (Though I also have one I need to get cracking on. Editing? What’s that?)

well done on good round 2 – onwards and upwards as they say – see you in round 3 in er just a few days – damm meant to take a round the world cruise during the break – have to put in on hold for few years!
