Here are the FAR goals I cited:
F-INISHING works in progress,
A-DDING new words to works with 10k words or less to them, and
R-EVISING two works for submission (converting one from adult to new adult and editing one based on feedback.) ROW F-A-R! **snicker**
Stated more succinctly and quantitatively:
- 1000 words per week on any of the above FIRST DRAFT projects (or until complete)
- 1 chapter per week on either of the REVISION projects.
- 500 words per week FINISHING projects nearing completion.
So how’d I do over the first three days of the challenge?
ADDING: I have written 3000 words on my new adult novel.
REVISING: 1 chapter of MFV revised. May retitle this one too.
FINISHING: No progress yet.
Clearly I’m in the honeymoon phase of writing new material since I’ve far exceeded that goal already.
Awesomesauce, Claire!!! Way to go. 🙂
Thanks, Jenny! 🙂
3k, very nice! Plus, a chapter revised. You’re doing very well, Claire. I better get back to my writing and I still need to post my goals.
Thanks, SJ! Sometimes it’s just a matter of setting out that to-do list in a place of accountability so you work on both the want to do’s and the need to do’s…at least that’s true for me. 🙂
Wow, no one has ever called me Cute Stuff when I commented before! You’re pretty cute yourself, and your blog is bold and bright and happy.
I like your FAR goals, and you seem to be on an early roll. Way to go! =D
Why haven’t you been called Cute Stuff?? That’s just wrong. Everyone should be called Cute Stuff! And thank you kindly for the compliment.
By Jove, Cute Stuff, you’re right! =)
I seem to find it easier to add than to finish as well. Great job so far this week.
Thank you, Fallon! 🙂
Those sound like very reasonable goals, Claire. Good luck with Round 1 of ROW80. I look forward to hearing more about your progress.
Thanks, Denise and thanks for visiting me. 😀
ROW FAR…I love it. 😉 Looks like you did well on your goals so far. 3k in 3 days is great!
Thanks, Kathils. I’m feeling pretty good so far. 🙂
