Here are the “FAR” goals I established for this round of ROW80:

F-INISHING works in progress by adding >500 weekly new words, net.

A-DDING >1000 weekly new words to works with 10k words or less to them, and

R-EVISING two works for submission (converting one from adult to new adult and editing one based on feedback.) by tackling at least ONE chapter per week.

Here’s what I did so far this week:

FINISHING:  About 350 words on my NaNo 2013 novel.  (weekly goal not met)

ADDING:  No words. (weekly goal not met)

REVISING: Edited two chapters. (weekly goal met)

Still busy with the day job, still watching the Olympics at night mostly…oh and reading. I managed a little bit of wordsmithing on Saturday, so better than nothing. I’m gathering momentum for a resurgence post-Olympics!

Thanks to all my visitors and commenters. 🙂

  1. I hope you’re enjoying the Olympics! I haven’t watched any of the events, but I’ve tried to keep up with things by reading an article or two here or there.

Good luck with your ROW80 goals, Claire! I hope your wordsmithing goes well this week.

  2. The Olympics are one of the ultimate “big shiny”s out there. It’s not surprising that you’ve missed on some of your F.A.R goals this check-in. Try to take a moment from them to put in those word moments. You’ll still get to enjoy the majority of the great performances, but you’ll also get the joy of knowing you accomplished things you wanted to. 😀

Best of the rest of the week to you.
