And the superhero novel continued to dominate my week.  My beta readers have been super fast and helpful so all Friday night and all day Saturday I did massive editing of Prometheus Unstitched.  I really want to get this baby out the door within a week.

I may be changing gears on which manuscript I edit for the remainder of this round.  My romantic suspense novel is going into the hopper for consideration so I’ll need to spiff it up some.  If and when I get a bite, I’ll update my official goals.  I have a nibble now so I’m hopeful.  Writing without publishing is like collecting knick knacks.  They are pretty to acquire and behold in your private showcase, all the possibilities they embody, but they do still need to be dusted every now and then less they aggravate the allergies.  :p

Lots of heavy action with the superhero novella this week.  Despite a few technical issues with plot continuity errors and a confusing ending, it’s getting favorable responses thus far.  This makes me very happy!  My beta readers have been super fast and wonderful with the 27k word novella.  The query is out being ripped apart by the AW squirrels and the kinder, gentler crowd at Scribophile.  It’s like asking both Mom and Dad if I can borrow the car.

STILL waiting to hear on the steampunk story I subbed for an anthology in March.  My next submission of it may be to Absolute Write for their SpecFiction anthology.  We’ll see.  I suspect competition for the AW anthology will be fierce.
