My seekrit erotica-writing alter ego sold a story, but all her base are belong to me so I get to take credit too.  Her 5000 word short story will be in indie publisher Pill Hill Press‘s Sinisterotica anthology, methinks in late Q2 / early Q3.  More on the timing later.  I signed the contract today like a big girl.  Whee!  The pay is 1/4 cent a word and a free copy.  Not a lot compensation-wise, but it’s an invaluable credential and I’m thrilled.  After being cut from Cup of Comfort for Couples’ anthology (G-rated) at the 12th hour, this is my own form of redemption.

  3. Congrats! *snoopy dance* We will be sinisterotica sisters 😀 I can’t wait to read yours! And all of them actually. It will be interesting to see what everyone else came up with, given the theme.

    • I know my husband will enjoy the whole book. LOL I’ve already read one of the other stories because the author posted it for critiques to a very limited audience. Let’s just say, her story fits the cover very well. I too look forward to reading the rest. Mine is not all that dark, truth be told. Heroine is jaded and sarcastic so I managed to work some humor into it. The story has a little action, a little romance, and a little erotica. Not so much horror, but definitely sinister elements. The erotica is pretty shocking for me. I’m kind of wondering if they might even ask me to edit certain parts back.
