ROW80-3 Wk 3, rpt 1

I paid for my exhaustive end of last week’s editing whirlwind.  I got my manuscript out to one more VERY indulgent beta and that was it as far as my stated goals were concerned as of this mid-week checkin.  I wrote two short stories, one for a contest and one for the AW Flash Fiction.  I also submitted a short story that had “stalled out” at its original submission site.  All good stuff, though not on the original menu.  However, I believe I can still make my stated week’s goals by Saturday.

My cumulative statistics are on my ROW80-3 page.

The Linky site lists other participants’ progress reports.  Give them some encouragement too.

  1. Well, I have no idea what ROW is LOL–but GOOD LUCK on your sub, Claire! You’ve inspired me to get one of my “stalled out” stories back out there.

    • Round Of Words in 80 Days!!  Woot-woot.  Well, I hope your recycle goes better than mine.  Got a big fat negatory this AM.  But I’ll keep trying.  Now, get going on yours!! Thanks for the drop by and encouragement, S.

  2. Congratulations on writing your short stories. And it’s ok if they’re not your original goals as long as you enjoy what you do. Good luck.

  3. Fingers crossed for your subbed story! If you need another set of eyes for Ellen’s story just let me know 🙂 Unfortunately my WIP has been backburnered for now, but I’m hoping to dive back in next week and perhaps even finish the damn thing! 😉

    • Thanks, Silver!!  Sadly, the peeps I referred to in my post passed on it, but I’ve since re-subbed to another publisher so I’ll take those crossed fingers and recycle them.  :)  I will most happily and gratefully send you the MS after I get at least one reader through it and their comments addressed.  It’s still very rough though, so I don’t want to aggravate too many of my wonderful, wonderful betas.
