Here are the “FAR” goals I established for this round of ROW80:
F-INISHING works in progress by adding >500 weekly new words, net.
A-DDING >1000 weekly new words to works with 10k words or less to them, and
R-EVISING two works for submission (converting one from adult to new adult and editing one based on feedback.) by tackling at least ONE chapter per week.
Here’s what I have done so far this week:
FINISHING: 100. (goal not met)
ADDING: 1345 words. (goal exceeded)
REVISING: Three chapters of Acadian Lady. (goal exceeded)
Well phooey, just couldn’t get much beyond cracking open one of my “hard” manuscripts—the ones that are stuck in neutral a few blocks from home—too far to push but close enough to fill me with anxiety that I could be / should be home by now! Instead I got caught up in my “revising” work that turned into some self-publishing research and pondering that turned into some draft cover creations.
Ah well, we’ll see what today brings. See ya on Wednesday.
Thanks to all my visitors and commenters. 🙂 Check out more ROW’er posts here:
