#ROW80 Rd 4 — wk 3, rpt 1

I got my two blog posts done, but nothing for NaNo prep.

Writing-wise, I managed to write two of the three requested sex scenes for my publisher and they are gooooood, if I do say so myself.  LOL

Happy news today.  Yesterday I queried an e-publisher about my superhero novella and today they requested the full manuscript.  The editor/slush reader said she loved the concept.  Woo-hoo!  This came on the heels of NOT being chosen as one of the top 21 semi-finalists for Mills & Boon’s New Voices competition out of almost 1100 entries.

Still editing my novel manuscript–I have until mid-November to finish this round.

My goals for this round are on my ROW80-4 page.

#ROW80 Rd 4 — wk 2 report

So, I was out of town all this past week.  I did jot a few notes down for my 2011 NaNo novel but I’m really not convinced yet that it’s what I should be writing.  I don’t think I’m ready to start a sequel novel. I really should finish last year’s NaNo, which stalled out at 60k words and probably has another 20k or so to go.  Then I’d like to finish up this anthology I started, writing another 20k words for that, which would leave another 10k to perhaps start the sequel or start another short novella.

I worked on my line edits from my publisher all day yesterday.  I find that type of work very tedious, alas, but it has to be done.

My goals for this round are on my ROW80-4 page.
