Novel edits are ALL DONE!!!! Yay!
My alter-ego’s anthology releases 12/9. Yay!
Plenty of blog posts this week so I handily met that goal. Yay!
And…I’m heeding the siren’s call and writing that short story that gels a little more every time I sit down and start to write and in those quiet moments in my shower, my car, gazing out my window….and oddly enough watching Deadliest Catch with the Silverback. There’s a hint in that last bit.
I’m leaving the NaNo win “stamp” up for a while longer cause I just like to look at it. I got my winner’s t-shirt the other day and wore it on Friday, chill in the air be damned on my short-sleeve covered arms. It’s a very soft, comfy t-shirt if anyone’s on the fence. (I got the unisex one, not the skin tight ladies one.)
My goals and current stats for this round are on my ROW80-4 page.
The Linky site lists other participants’ progress reports. Give them some encouragement too.
Brava for all the forward movement you are making…. and I love the wearing of the NaNo Winner T-shirt, even if it is cold. (Too bad they don’t make a sweatshirt, considering NaNo is a cold month for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere!)
I always look forward to reading what you are up to writing!
Thanks, Julie! You’re very kind.
I do have the NaNo zip up sweat jacket too. Snagged that last year, so was able to slip on over the t-shirt for the trek between car and office. I wish they made a long sleeve winners’ t-shirt.
LOL @ Deadliest Catch. It’s funny how we write or come up with ideas at the weirdest times. Sounds like you’re rocking it out. Great job 🙂
Thanks, Ryan. I don’t watch that show too often, but the Silverback (my husband) does. I feel anxiety-ridden just watching it.
Sounds like you got plenty done. Good work! And sirens? Shower? Deadliest Catch? I think I have an idea of what your sort story is about…;)
I think you do too. Those, and one other tidbit I know you know, would be the right clues to string together to figure it out. 😉
Congrats on the win and the t-shirt. I’d love to have one. Maybe next year I’ll finish. Can’t wait to read your short. I’m trying to finish up mine as well. I love that you call your hubby the silverback. That cracks me up every time I read it. 🙂
Thanks, Jen! The Silverback is starting to enjoy his notoriety. He wasn’t that keen on it at first. LOL
well done on nano – sounds interesting that short story when will be able to read it? all the best for coming week
Thanks, Alberta! I have a little catching up to do but hopefully soon…on a lot of projects, now that edits and NaNo are out of the way.
Woo hoo! Sounds like you had a good week last week. Congrats on getting it all done! I’m intrigued about your short… get writin’ so I can read it already! 😉
I’m at 5941 words and need to be between 5k and 10k, so about 75% done! Got a lot of writing in on my 5.5 hr flight from Pdx to Boston on Tues. Finally home so I hope to finish up draft 1 this weekend. Thanks for the support, Silver!
