#SixSunday — Unmentionables from The P.U.R.E.

Bra & Underwear photoshoot for magazine ad

Welcome to “Six Sentence Sunday”. Thank you for visiting and especially for any comments you might feel inclined to offer.

This six comes from my forthcoming debut novel, The P.U.R.E. (releasing April 16, 2012).  I’m not going to set it up other than to say our heroine Gayle has seduction in mind, but her lover has been resisting her attempts thus far.

I turned to face him, a pair of lacy underwear dangling from my wrist and a matching bra from my fingers, both black, both from my “how can you possibly resist me” collection. His eyes darkened. A-ha!

He shifted his focus from my unmentionables to my face. “What? Oh, yes, I’m still going to [[censored]].”

I think Gayle scored at least a couple of points there.

Sorry about the censoring, but the bleeped bit might spoil the book if I left it but is not necessary to get the gist of this scene.

Be sure to check out the host site, Six Sentence Sunday, for links to more tantalizing snippets from some very talented writers.

  1. CENSORED? *sucks in breath* You tease!

I love the “how can you possibly resist me” collection — fantastic, but I need a “buy” link now. New promo – P.U.R.E. lingerie, it would be a hit!

Sensational six, Claire! I can’t wait for the release.

  2. Love the “how can you possibly resist me” collection. How can he resist her, and still do [censored]? Gee, I’d better start reading THE P.U.R.E. to find out what [censored] is!

I'm dying to know what you think?
