This was a good week for me. I’m ahead of NaNo pace at 1888 words per day average, and have written 2 short stories for my anthology and started a third. I’ve also written most of the segue text between the short stories. Only three more tales to tell to finish off that baby!
I got my two weekly blog posts done too.
Evernight sent back edits for my short story contribution to their Christmas anthology. I received very complimentary remarks the editor and publisher including a “we’d love to see more from you” comment in the edits transmittal. I think I only had one thing to fix–converting two spaces after the period to a single space. Gosh that is such an ingrained habit from when I learned to type in the late seventies. Oy! Easy enough to fix, but I can’t stop myself from doing it, would rather do a global replace at the end. How silly, right?
My goals and current stats for this round are on my ROW80-4 page.
The Linky site lists other participants’ progress reports. Give them some encouragement too.
Great week, Claire. Kudo’s on the editorial compliments, superb validation.
We all have little typing quirks don’t we? I have a tendency to use old English word choices such as armour instead of armor. Word hates me and loves spreading red confetti across the page until I shut the spell checker off.
Have a great coming week and keep those words flowing 🙂
You know, I do that too with the extra “u”. It’s reinforced because I work daily with Canadians. LOL Love the red confetti and the green underscores…not. Thanks!
Did you change your header logo? That or I’m crazy! Congrats on such a productive week. Keep it going 🙂
I changed the header around Halloween, from the lady in the red dress to this steampunky Van Gogh one. thanks!
